Delete Your HVAC Warehouse Account

How it works

1. Open the HVAC Warehouse app and sign in to your account.
2. Go to Account.
3. Tap Delete Account, then Confirm.
4. Check the email address on your account for a confirmation link (valid for 48 hours) and open it to complete deletion.

What is deleted

After you confirm, we close the account and delete or anonymize eligible personal information, including:

• Account login details (name, email, and password) so the account can no longer be used to sign in
• Saved addresses that are not attached to an existing order
• Shopping carts, sessions, password-reset tokens, and in-app notifications
• Review display names, product Q&A emails, warranty claimant contact details, matching contact-form details, and matching reseller enquiry contact details
• Customer notes on orders (order records themselves are kept)

What may be kept

We retain orders, invoices, payment references, and related accounting, tax, warranty, and fulfilment records. Billing and shipping addresses attached to those orders are kept as part of the order record. We do not delete other customers’ data or shared business records.

Retention period

Business records that we keep are retained for legal, tax (typically up to 7 years in Australia), warranty, and dispute-handling purposes. Eligible personal information is deleted or anonymized immediately after you confirm the email we send. If you do not confirm, the account stays active. Confirmation links expire after 48 hours.
