The 300×60 NRD Non-Return Damper is designed to prevent reverse airflow within 300×60mm flat channel rectangular ducting systems. This damper opens when the exhaust fan creates positive airflow and closes automatically when airflow ceases.
Essential for preventing cold outdoor air, cooking odours, and insects from entering through the flat channel ductwork when the ventilation system is not running. Particularly important for kitchen rangehood and bathroom exhaust installations.
The flat channel design integrates directly into 300×60mm duct runs without the need for round-to-rectangular adapters. Install inline within the flat channel system at a point between the fan and the exterior outlet.
Compatible with all 300×60mm flat channel components. Install with duct connectors and seal with duct tape for airtight performance.
